Pilar Olaverri is a New York based fashion jewelry and sculptures artist. Pilar’s jewelry designs are often inspired by architects and artists’ works, among them Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer, Oscar Niemeyer, Constantin Brancusi, Carlo Mollino, Giorgio Morandi and Piet Mondrian to name a few. Her jewelry reflects a strong African influence.
She treats each design and piece as a small format sculpture. As a result her jewelry reflects elements of raw materials with sculptural vocabulary giving her a unique artistic signature.
